The 210 Workout
Let’s dive deeper into the training recommendations I presented in my previous article, Strong for Life. Here, I’ll outline a plan you can start right away. This workout can be easily performed with equipment available in most home gyms and certainly accessible at any commercial gym. I’d highly recommend doing at least a couple, if not more, of the cardiovascular sessions outdoors to enjoy sunlight, fresh air, and the benefits of connecting with nature.
Our goal with this workout is to reach that 210-minute minimal effective dose I discussed. To achieve this, we’re giving ourselves the gift of 30 minutes a day, 7 days a week—no cell phones, no distractions, just 30 minutes of uninterrupted exercise.
