The Safety Squat Bar: Save Your Shoulders. Load Your Back.

Next up in my video series on specialty bars is the safety squat bar. I believe this beast was originally introduced by Fred “Dr. Squat” Hatfield. It features a padded yoke that completely eliminates shoulder stress, but the 5” camber makes your upper and lower back work exponentially harder than the regular power bar does.
